Sweet Squirrel Journal Page
You can print these at home on 8.5 X 11 inch paper, using the borderless setting on your home printer.
A matte photo quality paper works well.
We like to print our journal pages on a thicker,
white card stock paper;
as it's more durable than regular everyday printer paper.
I prefer a matte, or flat finish white card stock or photo paper,
as it gives the journal pages a softer look and feel;
and I find it easier to write on paper with a dull flat finish,
than a glossy, shinier paper.
Here are some ideas how to use these journal pages or how the pages can be incorporated into
an already made journal or store bought journal diary.
IDEA 1
They can be made into a mini journal by printing on both sides of the paper so there are no white pages.
Line the pages up and staple them in the middle,
then fold the stapled papers in half creating a mini booklet or journal.
IDEA 2
If you don't want to use staples;
you could use yarn, ribbon, twine, or elastic string in punched holes.
Fold your journal pages in half and keeping them grouped together poke two or three tiny holes in the fold;
however far apart you wish.
Now you can tie the pages together however you desire.
For an added touch when the booklet is closed, you could hole punch in the middle outside edge of all the pages, and loop a ribbon tie to keep the booklet securely closed; kind of like a diary locket.
IDEA 3
You can secure the journal pages right onto blank pages in a journal; by using glue, double sided tape, etc.
The journal pages can even be cut in half and randomly placed in your art journal or diaries using staples or glue.
We have even used a sewing machine to stitch the journal pages right onto a blank page in our journals;
it all depends on your crafting preference and the style you want to create.
IDEA 4
Incorporating the journal pages into an already made journal or store bought journal for extra pages.
Fold a group of journal pages, open them back up and rest them in a open journal,
now you can slip them under/into a journal elastic band or jump band to hold them in place.
You can always add more pages, and easily take them out of the journal when you wish, as they are not secured in the journal permanently.
✺✺✺
The wonderful thing about our free journal pages, is you can print as many journal pages as you wish;
it allows for a creative freedom to use the journal pages in many different ways.
These ready to print journal pages are a sweet beginning to start your next creative journey!
